What devices can I use with Phoenix AD?

Phoenix AD works in any browser, on your android phone or iPhone, on tablets and on laptops.

How do I get started with Phoenix AD?

Contact the office for a magic link and a pin code. When you click on the magic link AD Web will open in your browser. Putting in the pin code the office will send you will unlock your episode details so that you can get going.

How do I wrap and add charges?

Go to the day page and use the filters to choose a set of artistes who will have the same wraptime, start time or charges.

Then just use the appropriate buttons to set these items. Or go into the chit view and make changes to each chit individually, stepping through the chits with the next and previous buttons or left and right arrows.

I want to set all unwrapped chits to the same time. How can I do this quickly?

Choose Wrapped on the filter drop down and then use the not button. You will now see all your unwrapped chits.

I want to set all the chits in one role to the same wrap time. Hwo can I do this quickly?

Use the filter to choose all the chits in one role. Then choose wrap and the correct wrap time. They will all be wrapped.

I want to check I haven't missed any chits out. How can I do that easily?

Your filter dropdown shows how many chits you have with each of the charges you have added, and how many wrapped chits you have. This is a quick way to check you haven't missed anyone out!

You will also notice that wrapped chits have a green outline on the day page and cancelled chits or no shows have a red outline. Chits outline in grey need to be wrapped, cancelled or marked as no show.

I want to add a charge to a selection of my chits. How can I do this easily?

Go into the chit view by tapping or clicking on a chit. Recently added charges will appear on the chit with a check box. Just tick the check box to add the charge to another chit. Step through the chits with left and right arrows on a keyboard, or using the left and right buttons.

Where can I see the daily totals I have spent on extras with Phoenix?

On the date drop down each day shows the daily totals. You will also have received a link to your spreadsheets for each day and a consolidated spreadsheet with a day on each tab if you need more detail.

I have a runner who needs to be able to wrap some of the artistes - how can they get the chits too?

Just forward them the email with the magic link and ask the office for another pin code. (Each pin code can only be used once.) They just need to click on the magic link on their phone, tablet or laptop and then enter the new pin code.

I will be filming somewhere with no internet connection. What should I do?

Phoenix AD works offline, just make sure you have loaded your episode while you still have service and then use it as normal. When you are back with connection just open up your browser on the Phoenix AD page and it will send all your changes over to the server. You will see a notification at the top of your page while you are off line.

I had a runner for a couple of days but I am not going to use them in the future - how do I remove the chits from their device?

Go to the home page and delete the episode from their device.

I have started work on a new episode but have a couple of days still left on the previous one I was working on - how can I see two episodes on my phone?

Just ask the office for a new link for your new episode and tap on it. You will also need a new pin code. The app will now have both episodes loaded. Use the home page to switch between them.

Can I have an icon on my phone for AD Web, or a bookmark in my browser?

Yes, You can bookmark any page within AD Web. You can also add it to your home screen on your phone by choosing Share and then "Add to home page".
